Bologna’s Mihajlović on Mourinho appointment: “I’m glad he’s back.”

Speaking ahead of his team’s clash against Udinese, Bologna manager Sinisa Mihajlović commented on Roma’s appointment of José Mourinho.

“The Special One” was unveiled as the Giallorossi’s new manager on Tuesday afternoon —- an announcement that rocked the footballing landscape in Serie A.

“I’m glad that Mou is returning to Italy,” began Mihajlović.

“I give my compliments to Roma for this idea — Mou is good for Italian football. He’s the right guy, especially because of his charisma and character.”

He added, “I am convinced that he will do well and that Roma could fight for the Scudetto. Of course, though, you also have to manage being in a difficult environment like Roma, but he has what it takes. He will do well, I’m certain.”
