Bologna manager Thiago Motta addressed recent rumors linking him with a future at Roma.
Motta had been linked over the past few weeks with the possibility of becoming Jose Mourinho’s successor at the end of the season.
However, the Italian technician said otherwise while answering the media’s questions during an event at CONI in Rome.
“I have great respect for Mourinho, Roma have a great coach and I hope they can continue working with him for a long time, he is doing well in Rome.”
“Personally, I’m thinking about the present in Bologna, about doing our best and keeping our image up. I want to focus on us being able to fight anyone in the league,” he added.
