Bologna manager Thiago Motta praised his side after they won 2-0 at the Dall’Ara over Jose Mourinho’s Roma.
The Italian technician analyzed his side’s convincing victory in his post-match interview with DAZN.
“We had a very good performance,” said Motta. “In the end we experience every match to the fullest, we know our limitations and those of our opponents.”
“The boys were good at managing the game, we remained united, we didn’t give Roma any chance of getting back into the game. Actually, we never gave them a chance. We played a good match, we managed our emotions well and it wasn’t easy, you could see it straight away at the start of the match. We did our best today.”
“It is a huge satisfaction to beat a team like Roma at home, the boys are aware that there is only one way to reach these moments, there is a lot of daily work behind it.”
