Boniek: “Szczesny wants to stay another year.”

Zbigniew Boniek, ex-Roma player, spoke to CentroSuonoSport today about his former club, here are his words:

“Roma? I am satisfied, in the last sixteen matches, Roma had stratospheric results, I was disappointed in the first part of the season, it’s too bad, because in the beginning Juve wasn’t there.”

“Szczesny? He wants to stay in Rome, he wants to do another year here, he likes Rome and Roma, but we will have to see, however, what Roma will do with Arsenal, it will depend on the player but to a certain point. It will depend on the conditions that the English club have established but I can assure you that he wants to stay. Wojcieh is a great goalkeeper, he occasionally gets distracted but he has great quality, everyone commits errors, but if he can keep the same level of concentration, he would be with the best in Europe.”
