Good friends and Roma teammates Borja Mayoral and Gonzalo Villar are getting ready to depart the Italian capital.
In fact, the two players are reportedly set to join Getafe as reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport.
According to the Italian journalist, Gonzalo Villar has rejected offers from Italy – including from Sampdoria – to return to his home country. The midfielder will join Getafe on a dry loan and is expected back in Rome at the end of the season.
Borja Mayoral, on the other hand, will join Getafe with the same formula he had at Roma. Namely, a loan with option to buy at around €15-20 million.
The transfer of the attacker was approved by his parent club, Real Madrid.
