Roma striker Borja Mayoral revealed on social media this afternoon that he recently tested positive for COVID-19.
The Giallorossi announced earlier today that two players tested positive for coronavirus following their latest round of molecular tests, though, they did not reveal names.
The Spaniard, who has been heavily linked with a January exit, took to his official Instagram page to reveal the news.
“Hi everyone, I was made aware today that I tested positive for COVID,” he wrote.
“I’m doing fine, I’m isolated at home and following all the protocols. In the meantime, I’m training at home as I was to be able to return with the team.”
As a result, the former Wolfsburg man will undoubtedly miss Thursday’s league fixture against Milan at the San Siro.
