Borja Mayoral lands in Rome

RomaPress – Real Madrid striker Borja Mayoral touched down at Ciampino Airport in Rome just after 9.30 local time today to complete his move to the Giallorossi.

The Spaniard is joining Roma on a two-year loan deal with an option to buy after each season for €15 million then €20 million, respectively.

Mayoral will go directly to Villa Stuart hospital to undergo his medical examinations before signing his contract with Roma.

The club was able to strike a deal early yesterday afternoon for the Spaniard after having opened talks with the Los Blancos for the player just over one week ago.

Mayoral will serve as the new backup option to Edin Dzeko and joins fellow compatriots Pedro, Pau Lopez, Gonzalo Villar and Carles Pèrez at Roma.
