Borja Mayoral nearing Roma move on loan with option to buy

Roma are close to finalising a deal for Real Madrid striker Borja Mayoral.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Spanish attacker, whose contract expires next summer, will renew his contract with Los Blancos in order to join the Giallorossi on an initial loan deal with an option to buy.

Contact has continued today between the two clubs as they are defining the last details of the operation for the 23 year-old.

Mayoral spent last season on loan at fellow Spanish side Levante, where he scored 8 goals in 34 appearances.

The Spaniard is set to arrive in the Italian capital as the new backup to Edin Dzeko.
