Real Madrid striker Borja Mayoral has accepted a deal to join Roma.
The Spanish attacker, who spent last season on loan at Levante, has said “yes” to joining the Giallorossi from the La Liga side — but now the two clubs must find an agreement.
Mayoral has only one year remaining on his deal with Los Blancos, who want to sell the player on a permanent deal while Roma would prefer to try a different approach. It’s possible that Mayoral could sign a one-year contract renewal so that the Giallorossi can purchase him on loan with an obligation to buy — similar to the formula that they agreed to for Arek Milik.
The negotiation has been ongoing on for the last few hours and is likely to continue until the sides find an agreement, reports Sky Sport.
