Boto not in the running for Sporting Director role at Roma

RomaPress – Roma are making it known throughout the media this morning that Shakhtar Donetsk Head of Scouting, José Boto, is not in the running to become the new Sporting Director at Roma.

Several members of the club have informed various media outlets, including RomaPress, that the Portuguese executive is not a name under consideration for the vacancy.

Whispers emerged a few days ago that the Giallorossi have met with Boto multiple times throughout the past two months in London and Zurich.

However, Roma have made it clear that the rumors concerning the former Benfica director, who joined Shakhtar Donetsk in June 2018,  are “fake news.”
