Roma continue to work a replacement for Gini Wijnaldum as the transfer window winds to an end. General Manager Tiago Pinto is expected to travel to Milan in the coming days in order to secure several deals – both in terms of outgoing and incoming transfers – before the deadline on September 1st.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma are in contact with Olympiakos for Mady Camara. However, there is no agreement between the two clubs over the loan formula. The Greek side insist on including an obligation, whereas Roma want to settle for a loan with option to buy.

The Italian newspaper claims that the first alternative to Camara is Leicester’s Boubakary Soumaré who has been linked with an exit from the Premier League club given his scarce playing time.
