Braga head coach Carlos Carvalhal had no trouble admitting Roma’s superiority following last night’s match at the Olimpico.
In his post-match interview with DAZN, Carvalhal remarked, “There is little to say and digest when the opponent is better and wins in convincing fashion.”
“When the opposite happens, for example against Estoril, it is more difficult to digest. This is not much, but obviously it costs the defeat.”
“We started well, with personality, playing as we should and with competence. They scored with the first shot on goal, with the second shot they hit the post.”
“The team was a little afraid of Roma’s offensive aggression. Curiously, after the red card we had three good goal opportunities.”
“We also managed the ball better. But today the opponent was stronger and we have to accept it,” he concluded.
