Brighton manager Roberto Zerbi discussed with anticipation his side’s match-up with Roma in the upcoming Round of 16 of the Europa League.

In his press-conference earlier today, De Zerbi had high praise for Daniele De Rossi whom he is eager to meet on the sidelines.

“De Rossi is a friend of mine. Our daughters are great friends and I have great respect for him,” De Zerbi told reporters.

“I already knew before he worked at Roma that he could be a great coach because as a player he showed incredible character, his father is a coach and it’s something he’s passionate about.”

“He lives and breathes football like me, he has a big heart, he is a passionate person and we are friends. But I hope to win. Against Roma it will definitely be a difficult match, but if we want to move forward we have to beat Roma or any other team.”
