Brighton forward Danny Welbeck spoke with anticipation ahead of the return leg with Roma in the Europa League Round of 16.
In his pre-match presser, Welbeck urged his side to remain confident despite the large deficit from the first leg.
“I have experience and it counts. It comes from playing and after playing these games you learn. When you have experience you can give advice to others.”
“Over time it becomes normal at which point you just focus on the match. For me these matches are normal, it will be difficult but I can’t wait to play this match.”
“The fans will help us as always. When we have them behind us it’s nice but first we have to create the right atmosphere as players on the pitch then they will give us an extra hand. I hope it’s a good match and I hope to start strong.”
“It will be difficult, Italian teams are always tough but it’s also complicated in the Premier League. We have faced teams that defend differently in the Premier League too. We don’t know how Roma will play but we are ready for any eventuality. They start with a big advantage.”
