Brighton midfielder Pascal Gross spoke on the eve of the match with Roma in the first leg of the Europa League Round of 16.
The veteran player addressed the media ahead of the highly anticipated showdown in a sold-out Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
“We are making history,” said Gross. “This will be Brighton’s first time in a knockout round, we know it won’t be easy but we will face it with humility and dedication.”
“To be here is incredible. I was here a year ago – I love The Gladiator, I love this city… but we’re here to play and I cannot wait for the match to start.”
