Italian transfer website calciomercato.it have reported today that the entourage of Torino right back Bruno Peres have arrived in Italy to discuss the Brazilian’s future.
There is no doubt that Roma are interested in Peres, however, there have been no official bids lodged for the player. Torino president Cairo isn’t against selling the player, however, his asking price of €20 million seems to have warded some teams off. Torino may lower their asking price for Peres if no official bids arrive soon: this is where Roma see their chance to get the player at a more reasonable price and thus are in a “holding” pattern and waiting to see developments between the player’s representatives and the club.
