Bruno Peres following brace against Spal: “I’m happy for the goals and the victory. We didn’t let up tonight”.

Roma wingback Bruno Peres was interviewed by Roma TV after having scored a brace in the Giallorossi’s 6-1 win against Spal this evening. Here’s what the Brazilian had to say following the win:

A brace for you and a decisive victory for the team this evening.
I’m happy for the goals and the victory. We had to win and I’m happy to have made my contribution. We won and we didn’t let up at all tonight.

It was your 11th match as a starter.
When I arrived, the manager spoke to me and I understood that in order to remain in Rome, I’d have to change my attitude and be more professional. I am trying to do everything that the manager told me. I am happy to be able to help my teammates.

Does this new 3-4-2-1 help bring out your best qualities?
Yes, for us fullbacks, it allows us to get forward more often and stay in the penalty area of the opponent more.
