Bruno Peres likely to remain at Roma, renewal possible

RomaPress – Despite having only one year remaining on his contract with the club, Roma wingback Bruno Peres is likely to remain in the Italian capital for the upcoming season.

The entourage of the Brazilian confirmed this evening to RomaPress that they have not met with Roma CEO Guido Fienga and that no meeting is imminent. Furthermore, it’s even possible that Peres could renew his contract with the Giallorossi.

Peres feels very good in the Italian capital and would prefer to remain at the club under manager Paulo Fonseca despite the possibility of being able to leave for free next summer.

The former Torino man played a pivotal role under Fonseca following the COVID-19 restart last season and found himself as the first choice right wingback during the latter stages of the campaign.
