After having left Roma in the summer on loan for Sao Paolo, Alessandro Austini of Il Tempo reports that the Brazilian side will not activate their option to buy on the right back. The former Torino man joined Sao Paolo on an 18 month loan, however, he will return to the capital to await his future as he is not in the plans of Roma.
