Bryan Cristante has climbed his way into the capital club’s history books following last night’s match against Brighton in the return leg of the Europa League Round of 16.

The Italian midfielder was once again involved from the start as Daniele De Rossi paired him with the likes of Edoardo Bove and Lorenzo Pellegrini to secure Roma’s progression to the next round.

Cristante’s appearance coincided with the player breaking into the all-time Top 3 Roma players in European appearances made.

Last night, Cristante collected his 64th appearance in Europe for Roma, officially matching Aldair’s record. Cristante is now only behind the likes of Daniele De Rossi (98) and Francesco Totti (103).
