Roma midfielder Bryan Cristante reached a personal and career milestone in last night’s victory over Fiorentina.

The former Atalanta player – who joined Roma in the summer of 2018 – made his 200th appearance for the capital club on Sunday night.

Cristante acts as vice-captain to Lorenzo Pellegrini and has been regularly utilized by four managers during his time at Roma: Eusebio Di Francesco, Claudio Ranieri, Paulo Fonseca and Jose Mourinho all relied on him to lead Roma’s midfield, often switching his position from attacking midfielder to emergency centreback.

The player celebrated this milestone in an Instagram post: “It is an honor and a privilege to have reached the milestone of 200 appearances with Roma.”
