Roma midfielder Bryan Cristante is being linked with a surprise move to the English Premier League.

The Italian international – a loyal servant of Roma since 2018 with 244 total club appearances so far – has reportedly found himself on the radar of a handful of Premier League clubs including Tottenham.

According to Il Messaggero, Tottenham Hotspurs were recently in touch with Cristante’s entourage, making preliminary inquiries for him.

Earlier reports from England suggested that Spurs were willing to offer €30 million for the 28-year-old.

Other clubs in the country have also asked for information.

Cristante’s pivotal role within Roma’s squad as well as his leadership and constant availability have drawn the attention of several top clubs ahead of next summer.

However, it remains difficult to envision Cristante leaving the Italian capital anytime soon; the vice-captain recently renewed his contract with the Giallorossi until 2027.
