Roma midfielder Bryan Cristante sounded encouraged by his team’s effort at the San Siro in tonight’s 2-1 win over Simone Inzaghi’s Inter.
“Sometimes you need games like this one to come along,” Cristante told DAZN after he final whistle. “These games are there to give us an extra push, they can make the difference in the end.”
“Over recent years we struggled playing away from home, but this time around we did well to revert the scoreline and grab the three points.”
“We deserved to win,” he added. “It was a good team performance.”
“Matic? He is a champion, he played many years in the Premier League. The more games we play together, the better we get to know each other and play in sync.”
“Mourinho? He was very happy after the game. We didn’t know where he was during the game. He told us he was in an undisclosed location.”
