Roma midfielder Bryan Cristante was asked to share his comments on tonight’s performance in Roma’s 1-2 win over Salernitana.

In his post-match with DAZN, Cristante remarked, “It was important to win, it was important to win two in a row. We have opened this new cycle with De Rossi, and so winning helps you win.”

“De Rossi? I’m pleased that a champion like him is our coach. We are all working well together, we must continue on this path then the game and performances will come more easily,” he added.

“De Rossi brought his own ideas to the table. Every coach has them, he is bringing his philosophy of keeping the ball and maintaining possession. We showed a few things tonight, I think.”

“Mourinho? It’s always a shame when a coach leaves the club. Mourinho had created a wonderful relationship with this group, we spent together two and a half years where we won a trophy but unfortunately football is like this – when things don’t go well it’s the coaches who pay, now we have Daniele and we have to give everything for him and for the team.”
