Roma midfielder Bryan Cristante was recently interviewed by Sportweek on the occasion of Adidas Store’s opening in the Italian capital. Cristante discussed Mourinho’s impact on Roma’s players, highlighting the club’s need to continue winning.
“That’s what we want to keep doing,” he said. “We want to continue winning after having lifted the Conference League trophy last season.”
“Something’s changed with the arrivals of Mourinho and the Friedkins,” Cristante added, referring to the change in mentality brought by the new ownership and the Special One.
“There is a desire to win, and we have a concrete plan to realise. We have a manager who brought his hunger to win, he gave it to us, and we’ll follow him.”
“The objective is to return to the Champions League. We know we have a strong team. We have a coach who knows how to win and that’s what we want to do. We must continue on this path.”
