Bryan Cristante out 6-8 weeks after wrist surgery

Bryan Cristante underwent successful surgery on his fractured left wrist, which will cause him to miss the majority of the international break.

According to today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport, the fracture in the midfielder’s wrist was quite serious and required a more urgent response from the club’s medical staff.

Now, the player will be forced to avoid contact situations for the next 6-8 weeks in order for the injury to heal properly.

Cristante will therefore miss the majority of Roma’s preparations leading up to the January re-start to the season. The 27-year-old is expected to conduct individual training drills, and not be involved in team activities.
