Roma midfielder Bryan Cristante was asked to comment the Giallorossi’s defeat in tonight’s edition of Derby della Capitale as Lazio came out victories scoring a goal off a mistake by Roger Ibanez.
“Mentally we felt fine,” Cristante told DAZN after the game. “We certainly lacked something in the final third,” he added.
“They allowed us to play while they defended. We failed to break them down,” continued the midfielder. “They set up a very deep block, but we could have done more. They did a great job in setting up, it wasn’t easy.”
“I think we could have done better in the midfield and attack. We should have delivered better balls to our forwards. And that’s what we lacked – a clear shot on target.”
