Roma midfielder Bryan Cristante is ready to once again play a crucial role in the team’s upcoming schedule.
The make-or-break list of fixtures for December and January will push Jose Mourinho to repeatedly rely on Cristante whom he considers one of the few undisputable starters in the Giallorossi squad.
After suffering minor fatigue during Italy’s training camp, Corriere dello Sport reports that Cristante is back to bein match-fit and is expected to feature in every single game for Roma from here on out until the next international break.
With the likes of Leandro Paredes, Houssem Aouar and Lorenzo Pellegrini either not performing to the standard or dealing with repeated injuries, Cristante has once again emerged as the leading figure in Roma’s midfield.
Mourinho cannot do without him and this suits just fine to Cristante who will do anything to be called up by Luciano Spalletti for next year’s EURO tournament.
