Roma midfielder Bryan Cristante – who tonight filled in as central defender against Bayer Leverkusen – praised the home crowd’s intensity.

“Tonight the stadium was fantastic. Just incredible,” Cristante told Sky Sport after the game.

“We knew that with only two games we’d be in the final. Now, there’s only one game left. It’s natural to give more as a result of this,” he said.

“We can be stronger than anyone if we give 100%. We can reach the final. By playing the way did tonight in Germany we can do it.”
