Roma midfielder Bryan Cristante was pleased with last night’s performance against Brighton but stressed the need to further improve as a team.
In his post-match interview with Sky Sport, Cristante praised the correct preparation that went into this match.
“We did well, we interpreted it well right from the start. We entered the pitch with the right mindset as we knew it was a difficult team to face. We knew that if we played fast we would have our chances,” he said.
“We prepared the match perfectly. Then we were even better at putting into practice the things we tried in recent days. It’s not over but this result helps us a lot for the return leg.”
“There is always room for improvement. We are growing game after game, we are addressing the things that needed to be addressed,” he added.
