Bryan Cristante is considered one of the main leaders of Jose Mourinho’s Roma.
The Italian midfielder concluded the 22/23 campaign with the most tackles in all of Serie A, collecting 113 of them, reports Corriere dello Sport.
In the course of the season, Cristante was also called to replace Chris Smalling in the defence once the English centreback went down with an injury. There, he played against the likes of Monza, Inter and Bologna without ever showing signs of slowing down.
The Italian newspaper claims that Cristante – no matter what future moves Roma make on the market – will always find himself at the center of Mourinho’s rotations as he is considered a reliable and calming presence on and off the pitch by the Special One.
