Buyout clause in the contract of Manolas valid in Italy and abroad

Today, the Giallorossi have announced the renewal of Kostas Manolas until 2022, however, present in the new contract of the defender is a buyout clause.

As learned by RomaPress, the buyout clause for Manolas is valid in both Italy and abroad and is worth roughly €35 million.

Initially, it was believed that the buyout clause would only be valid for foreign clubs, however, it now appears that the clause is also valid in Italy, too.
