Robin Olsen was presented today by Cagliari and spoke about his move to the Sardinian side on loan from Roma. The Swedish international joined Cagliari in the last days of the transfer window on a dry loan from the Giallorossi.
“I enjoy this Cagliari side very much. I’ve been here a few days and I’ve seen some good things. I am really enjoying the training center and the training sessions. It’s been a good few days,” he began.
“What didn’t work at Roma? I’m not sure, but I have a year of experience in Italy and I was happy when I heard about the interest of Cagliari and I thought it’d be a good opportunity for me to come here. I know how good the team is — I played against them last year. We had difficulties against them. I’m happy to come here and do my best for the team. Cagliari has a great history with goalkeepers. I just want to come here and do my best — train hard and do good. I hope to fit in”.
