Cagliari president Tommaso Giulini: “Fazio? We’ll see in the coming days”.

Cagliari remain interested in acquiring Roma defender Federico Fazio on a permanent deal.

Today, the president of the Isolani, Tommaso Giulini, spoke to Tuttomercatoweb and was asked about the situation involving the Argentine defender, who initially joined Roma in the summer of 2016 from Tottenham Hotspur.

“Fazio? We’re still talking with the Giallorossi,” said Giulini.

“We’ll see in the coming days if it’s going to be a deal we’ll be able to do”.

Cagliari have been extremely interested in purchasing Fazio from Roma and reuniting him with newly appointed boss, Eusebio Di Francesco, who managed the defender during his time in the Italian capital
