Roma midfielder Amadou Diawara could be on the move in January in search of more playing time.
According to La Nuova Sardegna, one possible destination for the Guinean international is Cagliari, who are in a desperate fight against relegation.
Several clubs have expressed interest in acquiring the former Bologna man, however, Roma haven’t received any official offers for him.
Nonetheless, Cagliari could be the ones to stop forward in the coming days as Walter Mazzarri has pleaded with the Sardegna-based side to bring fresh reinforcements next month.
However, Cagliari must offload some players before formulating a concrete offer in order to raise the necessary cash to fund the move for Diawara.
