Cagliari have reportedly inquired about a potential deal involving Roma’s young left-back Riccardo Calafiori.
Given Calafiori’s limited playing time in the capital, also due to injuries, and with Spinazzola soon returning to the starting eleven, this could be a good opportunity for the youngster to develop elsewhere.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Roma are willing to send the 19-year-old to Cagliari on loan. Mazzarri’s team are ready to keep him until June as the team fights to avoid relegation.
