Carles Pérez officially joined Celta Vigo on loan with option to buy earlier today with Roma freeing up space in the attack for other potential incoming players.
The 24-year-old winger discussed his determination to join Celta Vigo in an interview with the Spanish club.
“There was a slight delay in my arrival, day after day I had more and more desire to be here and Roma did everything they could to make this transfer go through. I’m happy, I have a week to prepare for the start of the campaign.”
“I had many other offers on the table, but, after speaking with my agent and with my family, I immediately knew what I wanted to my future to look like.”
“I told Roma that I wanted to come here at all costs and fortunately it happened.”
“As a player I really like to play with the ball at my feet and play vertically when I can, I will have no problem adapting. I’ve always played wide at Barcelona, and then a bit more central at Roma.”
