Carles Perez: “I can’t wait to get started. Fonseca convinced me to join”.

Carlos Perez was interviewed today by Roma TV just hours after his move to the Giallorossi from Barcelona became official.

The Spaniard discussed his transfer from the Spanish champions and what ultimately convinced him to join the capital club.

“I know I’ve left an important club in Barcelona, but I’ve arrived at an equally important club like Roma. I’m very happy to be here,” he said.

“I can’t wait to start training with my teammates, I’ve already spoken to the manager and met several people. Fonseca’s words convinced me (to come here) so I took that decision. I saw him and he explained to me how the team plays and what he wants from me”.

“I can’t wait to get started — I’ll give the manager everything he asks of me”.
