Roma attacker Carles Pèrez has been disappointing so far this season and is being linked with a move away from the club.
The Spaniard joined the Giallorossi one year ago in January 2020 from Barcelona after growing frustrated with the lack of chances with the Blaugrana.
Since arriving in the Italian capital, though, the attacker hasn’t been able to break into manager Paulo Fonseca’s first choice, starting formation and has primarily featured from the bench.
This season, Pèrez has made nine league appearances with only one goal to his name and has been very unimpressive. With playing time being sparse, several clubs have approached Roma about the possibility of acquiring the player.
Two of the clubs that have expressed interest in Pèrez are fellow Italian sides Sassuolo and Parma. The Neroverdi made an enquiry for the player within the last few days while the Gialloblu tried to open a negotiation, however, Pèrez rejected their overtures as he prefers to fight for his place in Rome.
