Roma attacker Carles Pérez was sent to the stands earlier in the evening before kick-off to Roma-Inter.
According to Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, the Spaniard suffered from muscle fatigue in his right thigh which ultimately forced Mourinho to send him to the stands.
It remains to be seen whether Pérez will recover for Roma’s upcoming midweek Conference League fixture vs CSKA Sofia.
The club will monitor his condition on a day-to-day basis.
