Carlo Ancelotti named Brazil’s new manager

Former Roma player and current Real Madrid head coach will become Brazil’s new manager.

As announced by the Brazilian federation, Ancelotti will assume his coaching duties after the 2023/24 season once his deal with Real Madrid expires–officially ending his second stint in charge of the Spanish giants.

He’ll officially takeover in June to begin preparing the squad for the 2024 Copa America. In the meantime, Fluminense manager Diniz will take charge of the seleção

Roma manager Jose Mourinho had also been targeted by Brazil after Tite’s exit. However, the Special One declined the offer.
