Carlo Ancelotti: “Roma are in good hands with Mourinho.”

Currently in charge of Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti shared his thoughts on Mourinho’s tenure in the Italian capital as well his own links to Roma in the past. The ex-Milan boss spoke to Il Messeggero.

“In all these years only once was there ever an opportunity for me to coach Roma,” Ancelotti said.

“I met with Franco Baldini. It was a long time ago. It’s a shame it didn’t happen because I would have liked to coach Totti.”

On Mourinho:

“He’s a great character, a great manager, he’s a blunt type.”

“Roma are in good hands with him in charge.”
