Sassuolo director Giovanni Carnevali spoke to TMW and admitted that Lorenzo Pellegrini is set for a return to Roma:
“Pellegrini? We have to think about a substitute, his departure (for Roma) was already planned for. They have an option to repurchase him before 30 June and they will exercise this. Di Francesco? Roma were the first ones to make an approach. There were no problems during talks, our rapport with Roma is good.”
