Leandro Castan’s tenure at Roma is nearing the end. As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Castan is nearing a contract termination with the Giallorossi and all signs point to a return to his homeland with Vasco da Gama. There was interest for Castan throughout Italy, but it appears he is ready to return back home after having arrived at Roma in 2012.
