Castore enters race with New Balance for Roma shirt deal

Sportswear manufacturer Castore has joined the race alongside New Balance to become Roma’s new shirt supplier according to SportsProMedia.com.

Reportedly, Castore has tabled a digital-focused offer, which it hopes will help see off competition from New Balance.

Castore is the current shirt supplier for Scottish giants Ranger but they have yet to broaden their reach throughout the football world.

Roma continue to search for a new shirt supplier after having prematurely terminated their seven year relationship with Nike. The Giallorossi signed with the American company in 2013 after they dissolved their relationship with previous longtime kit supplier Kappa — a move that saw the sides ultimately engage in a contentious court battle.
