Mert Çetin touched down in Veneto today to undergo his medical and sign his contract with Hellas Verona.
The Turk will undergo his medical examinations this morning at the Centro Polifunzionale Don Calabria before putting pen to paper on his contract with Ivan Jurić’s side, who have tabbed him as the replacement for Napoli-bound central defender Amir Rrahmani.
The 23 year-old is joining Verona on loan with an option to buy while Roma will posses a counter-option — something they insisted on having inserted into the deal.
Çetin departs the Giallorossi, whom he joined last summer, after having made a total of six appearances for the club in all competitions.
