Çetin drawing interest from Verona, Sampdoria, and Sassuolo

Mert Çetin has been limited to only 5 appearances this season, however, this he still has no shortage of admirers.

In his limited time on the pitch, the Turkish defender has made a good impression of himself – most notably in his performance against Napoli earlier in the term – which has led to several sides in Italy having expressed their interest in him.

Tuttomercatoweb reports that Hellas Verona, Sassuolo and Sampdoria want to buy the defender on loan with an option to buy with Roma possessing a buyback option.

Çetin had the opportunity to leave the club on loan in January, but Giallorossi manager Paulo Fonseca blocked a move away for the player as he rates him highly despite having used him only a few times.
