Roma continued talks today with Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham and his representatives.
The capital club already reached an agreement with the Londoners on a fee for the 23 year-old worth €40 million. Director Tiago Pinto is still in London and hopes to convince the Englishman to accept a move to the Italian capital rather than wait on Arsenal, his preferred destination.
As the Giallorossi await his decision, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel addressed the situation surrounding the attacker during a press conference today.
“There’s always possibilities players will leave us,” explain the German technician.
“Especially in the same position as Romelu, the position for Tammy is clear and discussed but at the moment there’s no news about Tammy. We have a good relationship and he is in the squad for tomorrow.”
The Blues begin their league campaign tomorrow versus Crystal Palace, though, Abraham is not expected to participate in the clash.
