Chelsea defender Benoit Badiashile has been offered to Roma.

According to Il Tempo, Roma’s search for an additional defender has spurred numerous intermediaries and agents to approach the club with offers of potential candidates.

The newspaper claims that the latest name to strengthen Mourinho’s backline is that of Chelsea youngster Benoit Badiashile.

The 22-year-old has only one appearance to his name for Mauricio Pochettino’s side and is likely to depart Stamford Bridge in January.

The Frenchman’s agents approached Roma ahead of the January window with the hope of convincing the Giallorossi club to bet on Badiashile as a short-term option until the end of the season.
