Romelu Lukaku could, after all, end up back at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea seem keen on keeping him.

The Belgian striker seems to be bound to conclude his loan spell at Roma without the possibility of extending his stay in the Italian capital.

As reported by Sportmediaset, Antonio Conte is being linked with a surprise return to Chelsea and among his requests in a potential move back to London would be the idea of making Lukaku a long-term solution for the Blues.

Conte is convinced that Lukaku could be the winning option for Chelsea’s attack and thus the Belgian is increasingly unlikely to remain at Roma for an additional season.
